BMWAS is located in Guffey, Colorado, 65 miles south/southwest of Colorado Springs and 110 miles south/southwest of Denver at approximately 8500 feet in elevation.  This location was chosen because of its abundant wildlife and distance from human habitation.  Although we are not open to the general public, appointments can be made for a tour of the facilities.
